Event Description

The ones who are innovative and pioneering, who endure entrepreneurial skills are perfect for the Runway. It is the conceptualization competition for students, young professionals and social entrepreneurs with fervor to improve lives through their ideas and skills of innovation, novelty and modernization. The idea behind Runway is to recognize and reward aspiring social entrepreneurs and thereby nurture the potential and passion in the youth to pursue opportunities and take the entrepreneurial plunge.

The competition has some themes for its participants which is Inclusive Finance, Education and Skill Development, Public Health Nutrition, WASH, Energy and Environment, Livelihood and Behavior Change Communication.

Eligibility:

1. Business school students

2. Undergraduate students

3. Corporate Professionals

4. Independent individuals

(Professors and mid-level professionals)
(Each team can have a maximum of four members)

Format:
Round 1: A two-minute long video of elevator pitch on any of the 8 thematic areas that the event revolves around. Submission Deadline is 10th August. Top 5 teams will be shortlisted.

Round 2: The shortlisted 5 teams will present in front of a jury comprising of industry experts, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and angel investors at The Lalit, New Delhi on 30th August 2017
